RB Leipzig head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl admits he was disappointed with his side's poor defensive showing during their 3-0 defeat to Hamburg SV on Saturday.
In only their fourth loss of the Bundesliga season upon being promoted to the top-flight for the first time in history – the much-maligned side succumbed to a disappointing result at the Red Bull Arena.
Kyriakos Papadopoulos, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Leipzig, opened the scoring in the 18th minute before Walace struck shortly after.
Aaron Hunt's 90th-minute strike added gloss to the finish for the visitors, who made the most of the set-pieces – leaving Hasenhuttl's men seven points behind league leaders Bayern Munich.
"We did not have a good home game, and it was not easy for our returning players to get back to the top level and continue where they left off," he told the club's website.
"But [Hamburg] defended well allowed us little space and have been rewarded with two goals where we have not defended well.
"We did not have the right tools to seriously trouble Hamburg today, but we will not over-analyse the two defeats. We will analyse together what was missing."
