Pochettino: Chelsea lead not decisive

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino admits Chelsea have a massive lead in the Premier League title race but says his team have enough time to clinch the trophy.

Spurs are currently second in the Premier League table, nine points behind the Blues, with 14 games remaining this season and are preparing for a big clash against Liverpool on Saturday.

Pochettino's men are unbeaten in six league games this year, including a 2-0 victory over Chelsea, and the manager is hoping they can sustain that form at Anfield this weekend.

The Argentine told reporters: "We are in the table after Chelsea, and we are a contender but then there are a lot of teams that are contenders.

"There are a lot of games ahead. It is true that Chelsea have a big gap, a massive gap – nine points is massive – but it is not decisive."
