FC Bayern München have been drawn to face Bundesliga rivals FC Schalke 04 in a DFB-Pokal quarter-final clash to be staged at the Allianz Arena.
The Royal Blues recently held the German champions to a 1-1 draw in a league clash at the same venue, and possess a relatively stingy defence.

The draw for the last eight of the competition was made by singer Mark Forster as well as Germany U21 coach Stefan Kuntz late on Wednesday evening, following the completion of the last-16. The quarter-final ties will be played on 28 February and 1 March 2017.
Bayern advanced to the round of eight after beating Wolfsburg 1-0 courtesy of a strike by Douglas Costa in the 18th minute in Munich. It is the tenth year in a row they have reached this round of the competition.
The other three ties to take place will see Eintracht Frankfurt face Arminia Bielefeld, while third-tier outfit Sportfreunde Lotte meet Borussia Dortmund. Hamburger SV will also take on VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach for a place in the semi-final.
