Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Thiago Motta says he is delighted at his side’s ability to keep on winning as it means they pressurise Ligue 1 leaders Monaco.
The French champions trail the Red and Whites by three points but maintained their pursuit of the Leonardo Jardim-coached outfit with a 3-1 victory over Dijon last Saturday.
PSG have now won four of their last five league matches in their bid to catch the runaway league leaders. It won't be an easy task as Monaco possess a deadly attack and have shown incredible consistency in France's top flight.
However, Motta believes that if the Parisians can keep on winning, the pressure will mount Monaco. He told the club's official website: "We're very happy, because it was an important game, particularly with Monaco's win. It means our confidence stays high to keep on working and put pressure on the leaders."
