Arsenal fans have finally run out of patience with Arsene Wenger following the Gunners’ dismal display on Saturday when they went down 3-1 to Chelsea.
Defeat at Stamford bridge leaves Arsenal a full 12 points behind their London rivals and virtually no chance of winning the Premier League title.
Arsenal last won the Premier League back in 2003/04 and it seems like the prospect of another title-free year is just too much for their beleaguered fans.
News that Wenger has been offered a new contract only exacerbated their fury, which they took to Twitter to vent, with #WengerOUT trending.

I have great respect for Arsene Wenger but he's a master of consistency and no longer a winner of the most important trophies. #CHEARS

You can't keep a manager with a mediocre mind and expect to even come close to being among the big guns, to win titles.#wengerout

Same old, same old. #afc continue to drift under Wenger. Those fans who protest have every right. Too few leaders on and off the pitch.

Even Arsenal forward Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain allegedly got in on the act, liking a post calling for Wenger’s dismissal before it later turned out it was mistake.
