Premier League side Hull City are hopeful of completing a transfer deal for Guingamp midfielder Yannis Salibur, despite the window being closed.
Tigers manager Marco Silva revealed that the club attempted to confirm the deal for the 26-year-old while they were also completing the signing of Kamil Grosicki, but did not have the correct paperwork.
However, Silva says the club have appealed to FIFA for the transfer to be completed for the reported £9 million.
"We are still waiting. Up to now, we don't have the final decision of FIFA," he confirmed with reporters ahead of the Liverpool clash.
"When we have, we will let you know. We don't have a date."
