Former Serie A striker Roberto Boninsegna believes Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi is better than Juventus man Gonzalo Higuain.
The two Argentine strikers are joint-top of the goal-scoring charts and will lock horns on Sunday when the Bianconeri host the Nerazzurri.
Boninsegna, who has played for both Italian giants, is of the opinion that Icardi is the better player of the two.
“Icardi is better than Higuain,” Boninsegna told QS-Sport.
“Mauro will soon steal away Pipita’s place in the national team, perhaps playing alongside [Paulo] Dybala.
“The Bianconeri are very strong, but Pioli’s team aren’t doomed.”
Juventus are top of the table, nine points ahead of Inter, who are on a seven-game winning streak in the Serie A.
