After a month of frenetic activity the transfer window has finally closed. We take a look at the last-minute Premier League deals that went through and round up some of the more important moves that took place during January.
Mamadou Sakho, Liverpool to Crystal Palace (Loan)
Arch wheeler-dealer Sam Allardyce was at it again, securing the services of the out-of-favour Liverpool defender on loan until the end of the season.
Palace were said to be interested in a permanent deal but were unwilling to meet Liverpool’s 20 million valuation.
Odion Ighalo, Watford to Changchun Yatai (£20 million)
Following an impressive 17 goals last term for the Hornets, Ighalo has failed to reproduce the same form this term, netting just twice. The Nigerian international becomes the latest Premier League star to be tempted out east after the transfer was agreed following a medical in London.

Ighalo leaves having scored 39 goals in 100 games at Vicarage Road.
Manolo Gabbiadini, Napoli to Southampton (£17 million)
The Saints snapped up the six-cap Italian international striker on a four-and-a-half year contract in the face of interest from Schalke and Borussia Monchengladbach.
The former Atalanta, Bologna and Sampdoria striker will give Southampton more options in attack following a long-term injury to Charlie Austin.
