Bayer 04 Leverkusen have won the race to sign highly-rated teenage winger Leon Bailey for 15 million Euros from Belgian Pro side Genk on a five-year contract.
Bailey's impressive displays for the Belgian side in the Europa League drew the attention of scouts from all over Europe, which led to reported links with English Premier League sides Manchester United and Liverpool.
However, Leverkusen have continued their recent trend of signing young promising talent by snapping up the teenage winger ahead of the English sides.
"Hi my name is Leon Bailey and I'm very happy to be at Bayer Leverkusen…"

Leverkusen's executive Michael Schade and sporting director Rudi Voller were full of praise of their latest arrival upon his arrival to sign his lucrative contract.
"We were once again able to bind a promising player to us on a long-term deal," Schade told the club's official website.
"This lad was high up on the wish list of many other European clubs. It makes us even more happy to have beaten such strong competition to his signature."
"He's got extraordinary pace, he's very skilful with the ball, and he will give further impetus to our attacking department," Voller said.
"We are convinced that he will be a big gain for us."
The Jamaica youth international has scored eight goals and registered 10 assists in 35 games this season.
