Ligue 1 outfit Lille have secured the services of Netherlands international winger Anwar El Ghazi on a four-and-a-half-year deal from Ajax Amsterdam.
The 21-year-old joined the Eredivisie giants in 2013 after enjoying stints with the Feyenoord and Sparta Rotterdam youth development structures respectively.
The versatile attacker featured prominently during his three-year-spell with Ajax having registered 100 appearances and scoring 23 goals in all competitions for the club, which led to reported interest from Premier League outfit, Liverpool.
El Ghazi revealed his delight at havnig joined the club – citing the career paths of former players, Patrick Kluivert and Eden Hazard.
"I am very happy to be at LOSC," he said at the unveiling.
"I had a very good feeling about this club ever since we started talks. I cannot wait to get started.
"I know that [Patrick] Kluivert and Eden Hazard played here. They are big names and that proves Lille are a big club," he concluded.
The Dutchman will don the number seven jersey, previously worn by Yohan Cabaye and Dimitri Payet.
