VfL Wolfsburg have reunited with Iran international Ashkan Dejagah after he departed Qatari outfit Al-Arabi SC.
The 30-year-old has re-signed with the Wolves on a six-month contract after completing a free transfer and has an option of adding a further year.
The German-born right-sided midfielder played for the club between 2007 and 2012, and was part of the team that won the 2008/09 Bundesliga title.
"I'm delighted to be back in Wolfsburg and I'm looking forward to playing in the Bundesliga again," Dejagah told the club's official website.
"We're in a difficult situation right now and I want to help the team get out of trouble as quickly as possible."
Wolfsburg are struggling near the bottom of the Bundesliga standings in 14th with 19 points from 18 games.
