Jozefzoon leaves PSV for Brentford

PSV Eindhoven have announced the departure of winger Florian Jozefzoon to English Championship side Brentford, on loan till the end of the season.

Jozefzoon joins the Bees after failing to secure a regular starting berth under manager Phillip Cocu this season and will look to re-build his career during the temporary switch with the second-tier side.

The pacey 25-year-old Dutch youth international winger is no doubt a coup for the 15th placed side and manager Dean Smith admits they are looking forward to his arrival.

"We have been tracking him for a while and we are glad we could get him as we knew there were other suitors trying to capture his signature," he told the club's website.

"Florian is a talented player who is an explosive ball carrier and will bring another dimension to our play. We are looking forward to working with him."

The former Ajax youth product scored seven goals and registered four assists in 64 games for Boeren.
