Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery was delighted to see his side claim their place in the Coupe de La Ligue final.
The Parisians thrashed Bordeaux 4-1 in their semi-final on Tuesday thanks to a brace each from Angel di Maria and Edinson Cavani. Diego Rolan netted a consolation goal for the hosts.
They will now face one of Monaco or Nancy in the April 1 showpiece, who play their semi-final tie in Monaco on Wednesday.
"We are very happy for our supporters," said Emery. "The team has shown big progression.
"We worked a lot, we improved on the field, and the result is there. 4-1, it's good for confidence! We qualify for our first final of the year, and we will enjoy it with our supporters."
However, Emery quickly turned his attention to the upcoming Ligue 1 clash with league leaders Monaco on Sunday, when a win would see PSG go level at the top.
"We must think about Sunday's match, which is important for the championship, and French football," Emery added.
"Monaco are in good shape at the moment, but we are also on a good dynamic. We therefore want to prepare well, play well, and communicate with our supporters."
