Zlatko Dalic has parted ways with former AFC Champions League winners Al Ain after three years at the club.
During his tenure, Dalic guided the Abu Dhabi giants to UAE Presidents Cup and UAE Pro League titles, as well as a runners up place in the 2016 AFC Champions League.
On Monday, Al Ain lost 3-1 to Al Jazira in the UAE Pro League and the Croatian took the opportunity to step down.
“I have done my best,” said the 50-year-old.
“I’m really proud of my three-years at the club, and I think it’s time. I don’t want to take anything from anybody.
“I need to rest. Thank you to everyone who has supported me.”
