Zimbabwe national team and Oostende star Knowledge Musona says he will give his full backing to his teammates ahead of the Warriors' Africa Cup of Nations clash with Senegal.
Musona picked up a hamstring strain during Zimbabwe's 2-2 draw with Algeria, however, the good news is that the forward should be able to recover to take part in the rest of the tournament.
The 26-year-old will miss Zimbabwe's crucial AFCON Group B outing against the Lions of Teranga but is expected to be fit for the team's final game against Tunisia.
As such, the former Kaizer Chiefs star offered his support ahead of Thursday's encounter.
He told the Herald: "Firstly, it's sad that I did not manage to play in the first game. As much as I wanted to play it was beyond me. The guy who replaced me, Mathew (Rusike) did very well in the game and Cuthbert (Malajila) did a good job.
"I think the result was not bad although we could have collected three points. Overall, it was a good game and we showed character. We will take the one point going into the next game. It's sad that at the moment I cannot do anything to represent my country. What I can do for now is to support my colleagues who are playing."
