Lazio were made to work hard for their place in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals as they eventually beat Genoa 4-2 at Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday.
The Biancocelesti appeared to be cruising against their Serie A rivals after going two goals up just after the half-hour mark, but Ivan Juric's side rallied to enter the half-time break at level pegging.
However, two second-half goals in the space of five minutes from the hosts ensured they would march on to the last-eight, where they will face Internazionale.
The six-time winners of the competition took the lead on 20 minutes when Felipe Anderson touched a through-ball into the path of Filip Djordjevic, who finished past Eugenio Lamanna from six yards out.
There was nothing Lamanna could do to prevent his team from going 2-0 down on 31 minutes as Wesley Hoedt picked up the ball 25 yards out and lashed a low shot into the bottom-right corner of the net from the left.
But the Rossoblu hit back nine minutes later when Mauricio Pinilla was played in on the right and he cut back inside before picking out the top-left corner of the goal with an exquisite curler from 14 yards out.

And the visitors were level on the stroke of half-time as Goran Pandev reacted quickest to Isaac Cofie's shot from just outside the area to control and fire past Thomas Strakosha from six yards out.
However, the Romans went back in front 20 minutes from time when Sergej Milinkovic-Savic saw his header poorly cleared from a cross on the left, and the substitute controlled the rebound on his chest before thrashing a volley into the far corner.
Ciro Immobile then wrapped up the win five minutes later as he ran onto a pass from Jordan Lukaku on the left and fired across Lamanna into the right corner from 16 yards out.
