Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane is facing a three-week spell on the treatment table after suffering a thigh injury against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.
The 22-year-old Frenchman sustained the injury during Wednesday's clash in Lviv, but no timeframe has been put on his recovery as yet.
However, that hasn't stopped the Spanish press from formulating their own opinion, with speculation suggesting Varane could be out of action for as long as three weeks.
While Varane will play no part in Sunday's La Liga clash with Eibar, under-pressure Madrid coach Rafael Benitez is hoping to have skipper Sergio Ramos available for selection following a shoulder injury.
Real currently occupy third place in the league standings, having collected 24 points from their opening 12 games of the campaign.
