Napoli have announced the signing of promising striker Leandrinho from Campeonato Brasileiro Série A outfit Ponte Preta.
The 18-year-old former Ituano frontman, who has 11 goals in 16 under 17 Brazil games, joins the Serie A club in a €600,000 deal.
The winger impressed while training with Maurizio Sarri's side this month ahead of completing his medical.
Ponte financial director Gustavo Valio told the club's official website: "President Vanderlei Pereira and I have been in Italy in person and after lengthy negotiations we have secured the payment which will be paid to Ponte in February.
"Since the player didn't want to play for Ponte anymore and opted for the Italian team, we made every effort to ensure that Ponte's rights were respected and, once the sum is paid, we will withdraw the ongoing judicial action."
Leandrinho was the top scorer as Brazil won the South American U17 championship in 2015.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis Tweeted: "Welcome to Leandrinho".
