Fenerbahce have told Chelsea to keep their hands off defender Simon Kjaer after he was linked with a switch to the Premier League leaders.
The 27-year-old Danish international, who began his career with FC Midtjylland, has also played for Palermo, Wolfsburg and Lille.
He joined the Turkish giants in June 2015 and has since established himself in Dick Advocaat's side.
A statement on the club's official website read: "A number of recent reports have falsely claimed that Chelsea have made an offer for our Danish player Simon Kjaer.
"Fenerbahce have not received any offers whatsoever for Kjaer and any claims suggesting a transfer could take place are wrong. Kjaer is a happy and successful member of our team.
"We would like to ask our fans to disregard such lies and manipulative reports that aim to disrupt our team."
