Liverpool midfielder Pedro Chirivella has joined Eredivisie side Go Ahead Eagles on loan for the rest of the season, the club have confirmed.
The 19-year-old former Valencia youth player joined the Reds in 2013 and has mostly spent his time in the U23s although he does have one senior Premier League start.
Chirivella played 45 minutes of the 3-1 loss to Swansea in May 2016, while also featuring in three FA Cup matches and once in the Europa League.
He will now join the struggling Dutch side to further his development.
Part of a statement on the Liverpool official website read: "Two FA Cup appearances followed before his Premier League debut against Swansea City in May 2016, with Chirivella particularly impressing Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp with his composure and technical ability on the ball.
"Liverpool will now hope that Chirivella gains plenty of first-team experience at Eredivisie side Go Ahead Eagles for the remainder of this season before bedding him into the side once again in the near future."
