Juventus have revealed that Tomas Rincon is on the verge of being unveiled by the club after undergoing a medical in Turin.
The 28-year-old Venezuela captain, who currently plays for Genoa, arrived in the city ahead of a reported loan deal that could be become permanent at the end of the season for €8m.
A brief statement on the Juve site read: "Tomas Eduardo Rincon has arrived in Turin and is set to undergo a medical examination ahead of his proposed transfer from Genoa."
Rincon, who began his career with Zamora FC before moves to Deportivo Tahira and Hamburger SV, has been at Genoa since 2014, making over 70 appearances.
He has 81 caps for his country.
