Lukas Podolski could be set to join a growing list of Chinese-bound footballers after Super League side Beijing Guoan made a bid for the Galatasaray star.
The 31-year-old former German international, who has played for the likes of Bayern Munich and Arsenal, joined the Turkish side in 2015.
Despite Oscar having been signed by Shanghai SIPG for a reported £52m and Carlos Tevez moving for £71.6m to Shanghai Shenhua, Beijing Guoan have supposedly offered €7million for the Poland-born player.
Galatasaray board member Levent Nazifoglu told Anadolu Agency: "Beijing Guoan have made an important offer for Podolski.
"We are evaluating the proposal and the prospect of moving is up to the player."
Galatasaray will be loathe to let Podolski leave after he made a significant impact at the club, that included scoring the winning goal in the Turkish Cup final against Fenerbahce in May.
But Chairman Dursun Ozbek recently said the club would need to sell in order to finance the purchase of new signings.
