Ibrahimovic set for United stay

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent, Mino Raiola, has said that there is a "big chance" that the striker will remain with Manchester United for a second season.

The Swede joined the Red Devils on a one-year deal in July, and has gone on to score 16 goals in 25 appearances for the club.

Ibrahimovic has been a shinning light in a somewhat dreary season for United thus far, and Raiola will have brought cheer to the Old Trafford faithful with his latest comments on his client's future.

"There is a big chance that there will be a second year, yes. It's more a question of time, rather than when or if," Raiola told talkSport.

He added: "He chose not to take it [Chinese money] to come to England. That showed the spirit. The boy is not done yet.

"He still has the fire, he wants to win, to perform. If it was only money that he was after, he would not be with Manchester United."

Raiola also asserted that the 35-year-old's successful start to life in the Premier League should not have come as a surprise.

"He's a revelation for England. For the rest of the world, it is not a revelation," he said.

"It was always one of our goals to show what he could do in the Premier League. He has killed everybody who had doubts about him in the Premier League.

"His ultimate goal is actually now to win the Premier League. It's the only league he's played in that he's yet to win."
