Bayern eye three points from Bulls test

FC Bayern München are aiming for a match-winning display in Wednesday’s top of the table Bundesliga clash with RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena.

Both sides are level on points with goal difference separating the Bavarians from the Bulls in top spot on the standings.

As such, Bayern are looking to head into the New Year with a more substantial advantage by sealing all three points.

Star midfielder Thomas Muller told the club's official website, "We need a top performance. It's wonderful for the whole German footballing family as the final match of the year, and it'll be wonderful for us – if we win."

The Carlo Ancelotti-coached outfit head into the game with five wins in a row in all competitions. Meanwhile, the visitors have won 10 out of their last 11 matches played.

Manager Ralph Hasenhüttl has done a sensational job in guiding his side to the summit of the standings after they were promoted from the German second division at the end of the 2015/16 campaign.
