RB Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick has acknowledged his club’s rise has been nothing short of miraculous as he targets all three points against FC Bayern München.
The Bundesliga upstarts, who are level on points with the 26-time league champions after 15 games, travel to the Allianz Arena on Wednesday for an eagerly-awaited top-of-the-table clash.
After already comfortably seeing off Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Leverkusen earlier in the season, Rangnick says the club only have one target in mind this week.
Speaking to Sky90, he said: "We cannot do anything else than play for the win.
"We are going to Munich to pick up the three points if possible.
"I don't think you can approach the game any more ambitious.
"The fact that we are the youngest team in the Bundesliga makes this match even more interesting. We are breaking the rules from a certain point of view."
