Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmann has said that he has no plans to leave the club and join Arsenal.
Griezmann has been linked to a plethora of clubs following a superb two seasons with Atletico, and despite Laurent Koscielny’s best efforts to try and recruit the 25-year-old, Griezmann made it clear that he is staying put.
Speaking to France Football after being named French Player of the Year for 2016, Griezmann said: "For Arsenal, he speaks to me about it often. But I'm good in Madrid. I don't want to leave. I'm happy here.
"I have just had a little girl, I play my games, I'm good. Sorry, I'm going to stay. But Arsenal are a good team, they play good football."
The striker’s current contract with Atletico runs until 2021, but a move would be devastating for the Champions League runners-up as Griezmann has scored 50 times in 90 La Liga appearances for the club.
Griezmann though calmed fears, reiterating that he has no intention of leaving the Vicente Calderon Stadium.
"I'm so good at Atletico. Honestly, I don't see myself leaving," he said. "People often talk to me about England too, but I'm good here. And also, going from Atletico to Real must be difficult. I don't necessarily have the desire to try, nor to ask those who have already done it. No, I'm not thinking about it."

However, when asked by French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet if he would consider plying his trade in Ligue 1 later on in his career, Griezmann admitted that it could be a possibility.
"If one day I came to Ligue 1, it would be to Lyon or Marseille. When I started watching matches, it was those of Marseille," he said. "After that, it was Lyon. I went to see them all the time in the league or the Champions League with my dad.
"Sometimes it was minus 4 [degrees], but we went all the same. I loved it. I even posted a picture of myself with [former Lyon striker] Sonny Anderson on Twitter. I loved him too."
