FC Bayern München chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has expressed his delight at securing the services of prolific striker Robert Lewandowski until 2021.
The 28-year-old has been a huge hit since signing for the club ahead of the 2014/15 campaign from Borussia Dortmund.
The Poland international already has 19 goals in 22 appearances this season for the Carlo Ancelotti-coached outfit.

As such, Bayern have been quick to retain the forward until at least 2021, and Rummenigge expressed his joy after the Warsaw-born star committed his long-term future to the German champions.
He told the club's official website: "I'm happy we've secured the services of one of the world's best centre-forwards over the long term.
"We now have certainty that another key player will wear the Bayern shirt in the coming years."
Lewandowski also revealed his satisfaction by adding: "I'm very happy the negotiations yielded a positive result and that I'll stay at Bayern for a few more years. We still have ambitious goals."
