Pochettino: It’s about looking forward

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino was calm in the wake of Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Manchester United.

Spurs went down at Old Trafford by a solitary goal from Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and are now 10 points behind leaders Chelsea. But Pochettino cares not.

"I think it was an even game. I think it was a very competitive game that was difficult to play, but it always is here at Old Trafford. There's not a lot more to say, and now it's about looking forward," The Argentine told Sky Sports.

"We created some chances. I think we had some clear chances to score but I think they were more clinical in the box and for that, they scored and we didn't.

"We always try to play and we build very well from the back, but then we made a mistake [for the goal], but that is football. It's about mistakes and sometimes you're right in your decisions but we cannot change anything now.

"We created some good opportunities and the team always believed. We fought until the end to try and score but we couldn't find it. Now it is about looking forward to the next game."
