SV Werder Bremen winger Fin Bartels is determined to stifle Hertha Berlin's progress by beating them on their own turf on Saturday evening.
Hertha have only lost once in their last six Bundesliga games and occupy third position in the standings, while Werder are down in 14th position, winning only once in the same period.
However, Bartels believes his side have turned the corner and are ready to pull off an upset in the German capital.
"It is high time that Hertha dropped points. We are going there with the clear aim of getting a result," he told the club's official website.
"We've put the period behind us where things were pretty rough. The defence let too much get through them at that time and too many chances were wasted up front. We still need to be better at bringing the quality we have to the pitch.
"We'll see what we can achieve with a bit of self-confidence in Berlin. It is then that you achieve success in matches.
"You have to work hard in these periods and we need to do that. We want to have a good level of confidence and to be at ease in this game. That will definitely be easier with four points behind us than having loads of pressure on our shoulders."
