Inter Milan youngster Andrea Pinamonti is eager to make more starts for the club after being handed his senior debut on Thursday.
The 17-year-old forward was handed his chance to impress against Sparta Prague in the Europa League. Inter claimed a 2-1 win over the Group K winners, but were eliminated from the competition nonetheless.
Pinamonti revelled in the experience in front of the home support at the San Siro, and is determined to continue improving his game as he eyes more opportunities.
"It was an indescribable feeling. The San Siro has always been my stadium because I root for Inter," he said after the game, according to Italian Football Daily.
"I'm happy about the trust I received from [Stefano] Pioli and the club. I will be ready in case I get a new opportunity. I'd be happy to have a new chance.
"I like to help the team and will always try to improve. [Rodrigo] Palacio gives me lots of advice. My idol is in the squad and he is [Mauro] Icardi."
