Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is hopeful that defender Bruno Martin Indi won’t be ruled out for too long following his injury against Burnley.
The Potters moved up into ninth place in the Premier League with their 2-0 over the Clarets at the Bet365 Stadium – their fifth win in seven games.
However, following Jon Walters and Marc Muniesa's first half strikes, the victory was marred by a serious head injury to Martins Indi.
"The fear is that it may be a crack in a cheekbone," Hughes told BBC Stoke.
"He's got a big bang on the side of his cheek. We'll have to wait and see as the swelling comes down."
The Netherlands international joins a long list of absentees for Stoke, which includes goalkeeper Jack Butland, defenders Phil Bardsley, Geoff Cameron, Ryan Shawcross and midfielder Ibrahim Afellay.
