FC Bayern München manager Carlo Ancelotti has called for his team to apply themselves fully during Friday's Bundesliga encounter with Mainz.
The Bavarians have had something of an uncertain run of form in recent times which has seen them slip to three points behind league leaders RB Leipzig.
As such, Ancelotti expects his team to come out firing against the O-Fives. A plus point for Bayern is that the side have had a full week of training to prepare for the contest.
The Italian told the club's official website, "I expect the team to play with concentration, spirit and 100% effort.
"It's a good opportunity. It won't be easy. Mainz play with high intensity, they're well organised in defence and have very fast players. In recent years, Bayern have always had problems against Mainz."
Friday's action takes place at the Opel Arena in Rhineland-Palatinate state.
