Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin has revealed that his speed of recovery from ankle ligament damage is exceeding expectations.
The 21-year-old picked up the injury during the north London derby, and manager Arsene Wenger stated that Bellerin would be out for four weeks.
However, the Spaniard is confident that his recovery is ahead of schedule, and that he will be back in action for the Christmas programme.
"It's going really good. Better than I expected," Bellerin told the Daily Mirror. "It is a hard injury to recover from and a bit painful.
"But I am going to try to be running from this week and hopefully I'll be back on the pitch in less than four weeks."
