Crystal Palace and France international goalkeeper Steve Mandanda has not ruled out the possibility of a return to Ligue 1 outfit Marseille.
The 31-year-old, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury, revealed the motivation behind his exit from Marseille after an eight-year tenure with the club.
"I had wanted to change and discover the Premier League," he told French TV show Telefoot.
However, since making a move to the Selhurst Park based-outfit, the shot-stopper has not enjoyed the same level of success as he did in France – with Palace hovering just above the relegation zone.
Mandanda revealed that he has no regrets about making the move to Palace, but suggested that he could be set for either a return to his former club or a move to a bigger Premier League outfit – with the latter depending on his individual performances.
"I am not disappointed. Go to a bigger club in England? That depends on my performances," he continued
"I cannot answer right now. Marseille is the club of my heart. That does not just depend on me.
"You have to see what kind of project they put in place – only then can I answer your question.
"I cannot say no because we all know that anything can happen in football. For now, there is no news," he concluded.
