Real Madrid man Toni Kroos has revealed that he would select midfielders Luka Modric and Gareth Bale for the Germany international squad if he could.
The 26-year-old joined the La Liga giants in 2012 after completing a move from Bayern Munich in a fee worth 27 million euros and the World Cup winning midfielder revealed that he'd take Bale and Modric to the national team with him from club-level.

"I'd take Luka Modric and Gareth Bale," he told FIFA's official website.
"It's a lot of fun to play with Luka. We clicked from the first day – we are people with similar thinking but a different playing style. We complement each other.
"Gareth is a weapon with his speed, his left foot and his headers," he added.
Kroos was also asked which side would emerge as victors if his club were to play against the national team.
"It would be interesting to have them play against each other,” said the 74-time capped midfielder. But I would have to give it some thought (laughs).
"They are definitely two of the best teams around. But what would happen if they squared off, I couldn’t even guess. They have different philosophies, different characters, players who think completely differently," he concluded.
