Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri feels his side showed a "lack of maturity" as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Sassuolo at home on Monday night.
Lorenzo Insigne opened the scoring for the hosts at the Stadio San Paolo three minutes before the half-time break but Gregoire Defrel stole a point for Sassuolo with a late strike on 82 minutes.
After the game, a disappointed Sarri explained his side need to take stock of their performance if they are to avoid similar results, and move up the Serie A table.
He told the club's official website: "We have to be more determined and aggressive in order to succeed. We lacked maturity.
"Napoli played an extraordinary match, but we have our responsibilities if we are not able to convert when we take possession.
"It was one of the best challenges we have ever played since I joined the team. However, on the other side despite our brilliant game we should win with grit and determination."
He added: "Probably we just need to try and avoid any lapses in concentration when we have the feeling of having everything under control but this cannot be an excuse because it means that we lack the necessary maturity.
"We look like a teenage team with a rush of enthusiasm and ingenuity when we are on the pitch. We should become an adult team because I believe that we could play any game with an extraordinary performance like the game we have just played tonight."
