PSG have been crowned champion of for the last four consecutive seasons and they have been making strides deeper into the much-coveted Champions League, but are yet to win it.
Kluivert admitted that building a world-class squad is a process and, to that end, he was looking to tie down key members of the playing staff in order for them to continue their forward momentum.
"We want to extend the contracts of Thiago Silva, [Blaise] Matuidi, [Edinson] Cavani, but not only them," he told the official Ligue 1 website.
"I'm thinking notably of [Adrien] Rabiot. A young talent like Adrien, just like Marquinhos, is the future of the club."
"They are extremely important in our project. We need all those players, the youngsters and the experienced ones, we would like to conclude things as quickly as possible. I'm optimistic by nature, I think they'll sign."
