Agent says Dolberg wants to stay at Ajax

Reported Everton target Kasper Dolberg has no reason to leave Ajax Amsterdam says his agent.

Dolberg, 19, is being touted as a potential replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who looks like he may soon leave Goodison Park.

But his agent Jens Steffensen told VI that the young striker is more than happy to remain in Amsterdam.

"He thinks Ajax is fantastic. He plays every week, and will feel the trust of his teammates and the coaching staff.

"That is for now the most important thing. He needs to play football and get better. Sitting on the bench at a big club in Europe makes no sense.

"It's not about money, but about development. Kasper continues at Ajax."

The Denmark international was spotted by the same scout who introduced Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Ajax.

He has netted eight times in 12 games this season, including a hat-trick in a 5-0 win against NEC Nijmegen last weekend.

His potential transfer fee is said to be around 20 million pounds.
