FC Bayern München captain Philipp Lahm is determined to make up for the defeat to Borussia Dortmund by beating FC Rostov for a second time in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Die Roten lost their position at the top of the Bundesliga standings at the weekend after a 1-0 defeat to Dortmund in Der Klassiker.

"We failed to deliver the final pass," Lahm said in a post-match interview. "It was never accurate enough. Otherwise, we would have had a lot of chances. We have to accept the defeat."
Bayern now shift their focus to Europe as they aim to challenge Atletico Madrid for the top spot in Group D, where they are three points adrift of the Spanish side.
In their last encounter with Rostov, the German champions thrashed their Russian opponents 5-0, and Lahm knows they have to claim another win to stay in the hunt for first position.
"We want to carry on and give ourselves a chance of winning the group on the final matchday," said Lahm. "That means we have to win tomorrow."
