Two second half goals for Syria secured a 2-0 win against Singapore in their international friendly game played at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium on Wednesday.
The game against the home side, Singapore head coach Sundram labelled as being similar opposition to AFF Suzuki Cup hosts Philippines – was said to be the perfect warm-up fixture ahead of the tournament.
