Osasuna have announced the appointment of Joaquin Caparros as the club's new Head Coach.
The struggling side parted ways with Enrique Martin on Tuesday following a string of poor results.
Caparros has a wealth of knowledge coaching in Spain and will hope to lift them from 19th in the La Liga standings, where they currently stand, with just seven points from 11 games.
The 61-year-old counts Sevilla, Deportivo La Coruna and Athletic Bilbao as just a few of his former clubs, having last coached Mallorca, Levante and Granada.
Caparros coached every year since 1981, before taking a break after leaving Granada in 2015, and it was felt by some sections of the Spanish press that he was being lined up as Spanish national team boss.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Osasuna has reached an agreement with coach Joaquin Caparros until 30 June 2018."
