Thiago Silva says that AC Milan teenage sensation Manuel Locatelli will be the future of the Serie A outfit, following his goalscoring heroics against Juventus.
The 18-year-old’s second-half strike proved to be the difference between the two Italian giants and condemned Massimiliano Allegri’s side to their second league defeat of the season.
Silva, who plied his trade for the Rossoneri in a three-year spell from 2009, highlighted that the youngster could go on to have a bright future for Vincenzo Montella’s side
“They played a great game against Juventus, it was a difficult clash,” the Brazilian told Sky Sport Italia.
“Locatelli will be the future of AC Milan. He has quality and will be able to score many goals. He has it in his blood.
“I hope he can still improve and that Milan manage to qualify to Champions League”
The Rossoneri are third in the Serie A standings – two points behind league-leaders Juventus.
