Nice boss Lucien Favre says Mario Balotelli needs to work hard to maintain his impressive start to life in Ligue 1.
The Italy international has scored six goals in just five games for the Cote d'Azur club, including the winner in a 2-1 victory over Lorient.
The former AC Milan striker was actually sent off in that match for two yellow cards, following an altercation with an opponent, although his second caution has since been expunged.
Nice host Lyon on Friday and Favre told RMC that the 26-year-old can't afford to get complacent.
He said: "There is no problem with Balotelli. We must say things to him positively and he also needs to understand.
"But Balotelli understands well and he stays after training to work in front of goal.
"He must now work even more in his game to regain the level to which he aspires."
