Simon Mignolet has talked up his chances of being selected ahead of Loris Karius as Liverpool host Manchester United on Monday night.
The Belgian shot-stopper lost his place to his German teammate for the recent Premier League clashes with Hull City and Swansea City, having started the season as the first choice.
He was also on the bench for his country as Thibaut Courtois kept a clean sheet in a 6-0 thrashing of Gibraltar on Monday.

The determined stopper said: "I look at the positives and expect and hope to play against United.
"I can still take confidence from my good start in the league. At Arsenal, Tottenham and against Leicester [City], I was important to the team with some good saves.
"I don't know what the coach will decide.
"I can just make sure I'm ready 100 per cent. Whether I play or not, nothing will change my preparation. It is not in my character to not give 100 per cent."
