West Brom midfielder Craig Gardner was a picture of delight as he signed an extension to his contract that will keep him at the Hawthorns until the end of 2018.
The 29-year-old former Aston Villa, Birmingham, and Sunderland player put pen to paper on Wednesday evening, with his new deal carrying the option of a further 12 months.
Gardner, who made 81 appearances for the Baggies, scoring six goals since his arrival from the Stadium of Light, was delighted to commit himself to the ambitious Midlands club.
He told the official West Brom website: "It’s brilliant for me to extend my contract, especially at a time when the club are bringing in some top players.
"This is a great family club and the lads are brilliant to play with.
"I just want to keep playing Premier League football alongside some top players that can hopefully help us climb into the top ten."
