PSV Eindhoven have announced that Art Langeler will take over the role as Netherlands U21 head coach after Fred Grim accepted the assistant post in the senior Oranje side.
Langeler, the head of youth development at the Eredivisie champions, will balance his job at PSV with his new role with the national youth side.
With his contract running until the summer of 2017, the former PEC Zwolle manager says he is excited about his new job and feels it will work perfectly with his current role as an academy director.
"I have been working every day to make the final step to the top of talented players," he told the KNVB official website.
"Performance and development are issues that also abound with the Netherlands U21. My work at PSV and the Netherlands U21 come together perfectly."
