FC Bayern München coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed he will rotate his squad, ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with Hamburger SV at the Volksparkstadion.
Bayern are currently flying high at the top of the standings in Germany and boast a perfect record in all competitions under the Italian.
In addition, FC Hollywood have fired in 19 goals in their last five matches while only conceding once against Ingolstadt.
With a potentially tough UEFA Champions League away tie with Atletico Madrid scheduled for Wednesday, Ancelotti has decided to rotate his side against Hamburg.
The coach revealed that Mats Hummels, Manuel Neuer and Robert Lewandowski would all start, while Arjen Robben and Jerome Boateng would be named as substitutes.
Ancelotti told the club’s official website, “We will rotate. Hummels will start and Manuel and Robert are guaranteed a starting position.
“Robben can play the second half and tomorrow Jerome will start on the bench.”
Despite some of the minor personnel changes, Bayern are still expected to be strong favourites. The Red Shorts have picked up just one point in their opening four matches and are languishing near the bottom of the table.
