Manchester United are reportedly considering a bid for Real Madrid’s marginalised playmaker Isco in the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder is underutilised at the Santiago Bernabeu, having made just two appearances for Los Blancos this season.
Despite his undoubted talent, the Spaniard finds himself behind the likes of Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, and James Rodriguez at Madrid, and would be offered more chances at Old Trafford.
After three consecutive defeats, pressure is mounting on United and manager Jose Mourinho, and The Mirror now reports that the former Malaga star is among their mid-season transfer targets.
The paper suggests that Isco "has fallen down the pecking order at Madrid under boss Zinedine Zidane", making him available for around £25 million.
