Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has extended his contract with the Serie A outfit, which will see him remain at the club until 2021.
Koulibaly was the subject of interest from Premier League outfit Chelsea in the most recent transfer window, but the Stadio San Paolo-based outfit have now tied down the 25-year-old for a further five years.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis took to his official twitter account to announce Koulibaly's contract extension.
"I am pleased to announce that Kalidou Koulibaly has renewed his contract with Napoli until the end of 2021," read a statement on his official twitter account.
The highly-rated Senegal international made 42 appearances for Napoli in all competitions last season.
