Borussia Mönchengladbach attacking midfielder Thorgan Hazard has dismissed questions over a potential return to Chelsea, insisting he is fully focused on the task at hand.
The 23-year-old, who is the younger brother of Cheslea star Eden, has made a flying start to the season under the guidance of Gladbach boss André Schubert.
Hazard has netted three goals and provided one assist in his first three Bundesliga appearances of the season, leading to suggestions that Chelsea could exercise their buy-back option before the deadline passes at the end of the year.
The Blues will be able to bring the newly-capped Belgium international back to Stamford Bridge for a reported fee of €15 million.
However, Hazard is keeping his cards close to his chest, and insists he is paying no attention to the latest rumours over his future.
“I’ve signed a long-term deal and I am only focused on Borussia,” he told reporters, after claiming the Man of the Match award for his performance in a 4-1 victory over Werder Bremen on Saturday.
“I feel good here, and am currently not thinking about any other club.”
He added: “I play up front a bit more, and also in a more central position. It’s normal I score more goals.”
